How long do you want to live?
The answer, "as long as possible", will not help.
Having a target number of years to live, opens a door. It prompts a question, "what should I do to increase my chances of living as long as I would like to?"
Every definite action that you take in pursuit of more life, adds time to your likely lifespan.
How much lifespan do you need?
How many more years would give you enough time to do everything that you want to do?
Another 10 years? Another 30 years? Another 50 years?
As things stand, what is your life expectancy?
Don't think about it, take a guess.
Is there s a gap?
We all know what to do if we want to live longer. Yet few of us do it.

"But isn't it mainly down to genetics?"

Imagine that you have come to the end of your days. By some unspecified means, you know that this is your last day. What would you give or do to get another day?
Since this is an exercise in imagination, you can travel back to the present and choose to do the things that will add hours, days, weeks, months or even years to your lifespan, today, tomorrow, and on through the rest of your life, adding to your life expectancy every day.
